Climatic Change

Climate change is an alarming issue of our time and it affect the weather patterns that threat the food production to rising sea levels and increase risk of catastrophic flooding. In the recent century, population growth, economical changes, high standard of living, industrialization, deforestation and large scale agriculture, increased the greenhouse gases (GHGs) quantities in the atmosphere and risen to record levels not seen in three million years.

PEERRI is following United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement and engaging rural communities to address the impact of GHGs and its causes and damages to environment and climate change. PEERRI organise programmed conference and symposium to address the Climate Change to reduce to use fossil fuels, alternate innovative energy systems, greener mobility systems, green economy and implement green technologies
